Wrinkles: frown lines, crow's feet & forehead
Soften frown lines, crow's feet and forehead lines with a subtle treatment, so you look rested while keeping your natural expressions.
Bunny lines are the diagonal lines on either side of the bridge of the nose that appear when you smile or wrinkle your nose; a few small injections of muscle relaxant into the nose muscle usually soften them clearly. At Zalat Clinics in Rotterdam, BIG-registered doctor Dr. Pravesh Gadjradj performs the treatment personally, using a low dose so your smile stays natural. The consultation is free and you know the price in advance.
Bunny lines owe their name to the way a rabbit wrinkles its nose. They are caused by the nose muscle (nasalis), which runs over the bridge of the nose and contracts when you smile, wrinkle your nose or frown. The skin then folds into small diagonal lines running from the bridge of the nose towards the inner corners of the eyes.
In younger people bunny lines mainly show during movement. Over the years the skin becomes thinner and the lines may remain visible at rest. How noticeable they are depends mostly on your genes and on how expressively you smile.
Many people only notice bunny lines after their frown lines or crow's feet have been treated. When those muscles move less, the nose muscle sometimes compensates and the lines on the nose become more visible. That is why the doctor also looks at the nose when treating frown lines, and often treats these areas together so the overall result stays balanced.
The doctor gives one or two very small injections into the nose muscle on each side of the bridge of the nose. Because the muscles that lift the upper lip lie close by, precise placement is important. A high dose is not needed: in most people a low dose already softens the lines clearly, while the smile stays natural.
In some people the tip of the nose visibly drops when they smile or talk. This is caused by a small muscle below the nasal septum (depressor septi nasi). With a nose tip lift the doctor relaxes this muscle with one small injection, so the tip stays slightly higher when you smile. The effect is subtle and mainly visible in motion.
A nose tip lift with muscle relaxant does not change the shape of the nose. If you want to camouflage a bump on the bridge or lift the tip for longer, non-surgical nose correction with filler is another option. A nose tip lift and bunny lines can easily be combined in one appointment.
The doctor looks at your nose and face at rest and while smiling, discusses your health and gives you a fixed price in advance.
After cleansing the skin, a few tiny injections are given. The treatment takes about 10 minutes.
The effect starts after 3–5 days. At the check-up the doctor assesses the result and discusses any small top-up.
Side effects are usually mild: a small bump or bruise that fades quickly. Rarely, the upper lip lifts slightly less when smiling for a while. This resolves on its own as the effect wears off. If you have questions you can reach the doctor via WhatsApp.
We treat bunny lines from €75; a nose tip lift falls in the same €75 to €90 price range. In combination with frown lines or crow's feet we agree a total price. You hear the final price during the consultation, and the consultation and the two-week check-up are free.

On average about 3 months. After that the effect gradually wears off and the lines return. People who repeat the treatment regularly sometimes find the effect lasts a little longer.
The nose muscle can compensate when the frown muscles move less. As a result the lines on the nose become more noticeable. A small dose in the nose muscle, often at the two-week check-up, restores the balance.
Usually not. The nose muscle plays only a small part in smiling. The doctor places the injections precisely and doses low, so the upper-lip muscles are not affected.
A small injection into the muscle below the nasal septum, so the tip of the nose drops less when you smile. The effect is subtle and temporary. The shape of the nose itself does not change.
Yes, that is common. Treating both areas together keeps the result around the eyes and nose balanced. The doctor discusses in advance which combination makes sense and what it costs.

Soften horizontal forehead lines with a low, evenly spread dose of muscle relaxant, so your eyebrows stay light and expressive.
A low dose of muscle relaxant above the upper lip lets the lip roll out slightly, showing more of the red part without adding volume.
